Technology Development Foundation of Türkiye

We are back with the first issue of 2026 of the TTGV Climate Technologies Bulletin!

Once again, our focus is on climate technologies, sustainability, and the future. This time, however, we take it one step further with a special issue that invites you to engage in systems thinking. From the Eco-Design era awaiting Turkish industry to the journey of alternative proteins reaching our plates; from microalgae systems in carbon management to the future of energy infrastructure, we touch upon transformation in all its dimensions.

In our 8th Bulletin, we host leading figures from diverse fields who are set to spark transformation on the ground, alongside pioneering insights from our expert team in their respective domains. So, who are our guests and what topics do we cover in this issue?

  • With Assoc. Prof. Dr. İdil Gaziulusoy from the Department of Sustainable Design and Innovation at Aalto University, Finland, we explore the critical link between design, systems, and sustainability in changing the world.

  • With Dr. Emrah Alkaya, Managing Partner at GTE Sustainability and Energy Consultancy, we discuss the new order in sustainability and why those who fail to read the future are bound to lose.

Our experts also share their insights on TTGV’s approach that dares and empowers pioneering projects; the role we undertake through the Guided Project Program; the journey awaiting Turkish industry in the Eco-Design era; the Alternative Protein Ecosystem; how carbon can be managed through macroalgae systems; national food security; and why community structures are critically important.
