FLUX Technology Steering Program Celebrates 'Fellows Day'
The Fellows Day event of the FLUX Technology Steering Program—carried out by the Technology Development Foundation of Türkiye (TTGV) to enable climate technology researchers to move their projects beyond the academic framework and align them with industry needs, market dynamics, and user expectations—was held on October 23, 2025, at Fark Labs TEKMER in Istanbul.
Throughout the program, our researchers working on climate technologies had the opportunity to bring their ideas, technologies, and innovation approaches beyond the boundaries of academia and connect with the industry.
Following the opening remarks by our Development Programs Director, Evren Bükülmez, a panel titled “Technology and Application Integration from Research to Commercialization” was held. Moderated by our Pioneer Project Program Specialist, Dr. Kaan Bolat, the panel featured distinguished speakers from academia, the public sector, and the private sector: Dr. Volkan Özgüz, General Manager of Boğaziçi University Technology Transfer Office; Esra Cer Yardımoğlu, TÜBİTAK TEMEG Group Coordinator; and Dr. Hüseyin Güler, Global R&D and Innovation Director at Kastamonu Entegre. Together, they evaluated technology development processes from a multi-faceted perspective.
The event, where our participants—Dr. Meltem İpekçi Terzioğlu, Esra Eren, Furkan Toruntay, Dr. Behzat Yıldırım, Elif Kardaş, Dr. Elif Yurttaş, Dr. Özdemir Tiflis, and Dr. Hande Eryılmaz—shared their developed projects, experience, and insights gained during the FLUX process, also fostered inspiring conversations on new collaborations and joint efforts.
We would like to thank all our participants, mentors, panelists, and cooperation partners.
